The Ausline breed’s carcase and management traits make them ideal for breeders to cross with cattle of other breeds.
The examples below show a wide range of possibilities. Hybrid vigour, early, easy finishing, fertility and docility all are inherited from the Ausline genetics.
These cattle are eligible for registration as Percentage Ausline cattle and can form the basis of a grading up programme, allowing breeders to register purebred animals when the genetic makeup reaches 93.75% Ausline fullblood.
